“The Stagecoach Story”
Albert (Alias "Big Al") and Yoshi Stevens started their version of the "Stagecoach Restaurant" in February 1978. Today, the Stagecoach Restaurants are still owned and operated by the Stevens Family. We still, and will continue to adhere to Al and Yoshi's basic beliefs that homestyle meals prepared from scratch, hearty portions, prices lower than our competition, efficient and friendly service, and a clean restaurant will always spell SUCCESS!
In 1980, Al's son Don and his wife Sue opened up the Elk Grove location, and after many years of dedication, they retired in 2016, passing the restaurant down to their daughter Melanie, who still owns and operates it to this day.
As always, we continue to support our Senior Citizen community by offering a very extensive and bargain-priced senior menu. All our Soups, Entrees, and Daily Specials are made from original "Stevens Family Recipes" handed down from "Big Al"!
Al and Yoshi successfully instilled in their children good old-fashioned values and the solid principle that, "THE CUSTOMER IS NUMBER ONE AND THAT THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!" (WITHIN REASON, OF COURSE!)
